At The Circle Salon, we do not believe in departmentalization, so here, you will find that all stylists specialize in both cut and chemical services. We feel that this creates a more consistent experience for our guest as well as a tighter sync between cut and color. Meet our stylists.
In order to accommodate a variety of guests, The Circle has stylists with many different years of training and experience. We have borrowed Karate’s colored belt system, so that you can better differentiate between stylists at each level. Like the Japanese instructors of martial arts, The Circle Salon believes that the Black Belt is the level at which the real study of the art begins.
WHITE BELT is the training level. This level is for students fresh out of cosmetology school. At this level, stylists are not providing services to guests, but assisting salon staff, and participating in the assistant training program.
BLUE BELT is the first stylist level. This is the starting price point for all services offered.
YELLOW BELT is the second stylist level. The yellow belt stylist must complete all required in-house training and meet all required goals to advance to the next level.
GREEN BELT is the third stylist level. This is the intermediate price point for all services offered. The green belt stylist must complete all required in-house training as well as advanced training, and meet all required goals to advance to the next level.
BROWN BELT is the fourth stylist level. This is the higher price point for all services offered. The brown belt stylist must participate in all in-house training as well as advanced training, and meet all required goals to advance to the next level.
BLACK BELT is the fifth stylist level. This is the highest price point for all services offered. The black belt stylist must participate in all in-house training, advanced training, and contribute to the needs of the salon and staff.
