Jamie began her career in 1998 at The Aveda Institute in Minneapolis knowing that she would one day open her own salon. In 2009 she opened The Circle Salon. Her years and industry experience have awarded her mentions in many publications including Allure Magazine, Chicago Magazine and Elle Magazine. Her proudest achievement is being recognized as one of Salon Today’s Top 200 Salons.

With 2 decades of industry experience, Moe is a stylist with an incredibly diverse skill set. She has worked hard to hone her skills in haircutting, color, retexturizing treatments and styling. Moe has a growth mindset, and is a lifelong learner who loves being of service. She has spent much of her career working with the industry’s leading eco-conscious brands such as Aveda, Bumble & bumble, Davines, Eufora & Kevin Murphy. In her free time, you can find her enjoying the arts, road tripping in her van (Ferdinand) and looking for new additions for her collection of house plants & antiques.

Crystal is a stylist with over 15 years in the industry. She has extensive training in Vidal Sassoon cutting techniques as well as Bumble & Bumble, Mohagony, Toni and Guy, and Nick Arrojo. Some of her special skills include razor cutting, eyebrow shaping, make up, and eyelash extensions. She’s been mentioned by Chicago Magazine as the stylist to see for short hair and her work has been published in such industry magazines as Modern Salon and Peluquerias. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll usually find Crystal visiting her local farmer’s market, cooking beautiful meals, and enjoying hearty laughs with her friends and family.

If Laura hadn’t started cutting hair for friends in her parent’s kitchen during college, she would have missed her calling. After beauty school, Laura apprenticed learning Vidal Sassoon techniques, and with over 15 years in the industry, she has received advanced training from Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Kevin Murphy, and Nick Arrojo. Laura loves precision haircuts just as much as she loves tearing into those haircuts to bring out the hair’s natural texture & helping the hair to move. She also loves special occasion hair and men’s cuts. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family, going to the gym, or spending countless minutes reading or watching videos on hair, health, fitness, food, and raising children.

Mariah’s career as a hair stylist officially began in 2011 when she attended cosmetology school at Mario Tricoci. In having a mother who is a hair stylist, she was prepped for her calling long before she enrolled in cosmetology school and feels as though “this career chose her”. Mariah’s easy-going, warm personality coupled with her precision technical work and attention to detail is her secret to success behind the chair. She is a well-rounded stylist who is most proud of her hair color work, yet still offers incredibly skilled haircuts no matter what your style preference dictates. When Mariah is not working, she loves watching movies, spending time with family and friends, especially when it involves having adventures and making new memories through traveling.

As a third generation hairstylist, CJ grew up in and around hair salons. With over 14 years experience, CJ has extensive training in Vidal Sassoon haircutting techniques. In addition to precision haircutting, he specializes in natural looking hair color with a strong focus on dimensional color and blonding. CJ is known for his incredible blowouts and gorgeous event hairstyles. When he’s not at the salon, CJ loves spending time with his two little dogs, baking and cooking. You’ll want to ask him about his lasagna recipe… it’s delicious!

Lily began her career and received extensive training In Europe where she spent many years as an educator for L’Oreal. After relocating to Chicago, she worked for nearly 20 years on Michigan Ave. Lily is a well rounded hairstylist showing incredible skill in all types of haircutting for women and men, as well as hair color. Her interest in fashion is an asset to her creativity and she loves offering personal styling tips as well. Lily speaks three languages; English, Lithuanian & Russian and when she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with animals and volunteering at Anti-Cruelty Society.

Sabrine has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 30 years. She is passionate about helping others rise to their full potential, and finds it incredibly fulfilling to have a positive effect on another person’s self esteem. She is a well rounded stylist and enjoys truly connecting with clients to understand their unique needs and goals.
Sabrine loves meeting people from all walks of life. Everyone has a story to tell, and Sabrine feels honored to be a part of that journey.
Sabrine identifies as a transgender female and completed her medical transition in 2009. This journey of “self” has imbued Sabrine with a depth of empathy that allows her to tend to the unique needs of the LGBTQ community and beyond.
One of the things that is very important to Sabrine is giving back to her community. In addition to Sabrine’s strong skill set within the beauty industry, she has also done advocacy work. Sabrine has a great deal of experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community via education, public speaking, conducting cultural competency trainings and HIV testing.
